BE AGGRESSIVE CAST

Jennifer Makenas Cheerleader

Jennifer is thrilled to finally be pursuing her dream…of being a cheerleader, duh!  She knew that a lifetime dedicated to perkiness and ditziness would one day pay off!  While Jennifer usually lends her voice to musical theater, most recently in Suessical at Civic Light Opera, she has never been opposed to a good hearty cheer!  When she is not acting or cheering, Jennifer enjoys snowboarding, dancing, running, developing cutting edge ponytail positions, and fluffing her pom-poms.  Jennifer would like to thank Artattack for this opportunity and her friends, family and sports bra for their support.

Colleen Robertson Laura

A native Seattlite who survived four years in Los Angeles, Colleen is, like, totally stoked to be working on this new show set in the southland. While in LA, she worked on many a dramady, including: Betty's Summer Vacation (Mrs Sizmograph), Lysistrata (Lys), Cloud 9, (Edward/Betty) and Occidental Children's Theatre’s Little Red Frankenhood (ensemble member/resident teacher). More recently you may have seen her in Ghostlight Theatrical’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (Player) or Tartuffe (Mariane). Other Seattle companies with whom she has had the honor of working include: Annex, Papertrail Productions, Groundwork Theater, Sight Nine and Seattle Public.

Walayn Sharples Judy

Walayn is delighted to be part of Artattack's first Seattle production. She recently returned to theater after a ten year hiatus raising two beautiful daughters. She was most recently seen at Intiman as the acerbic Mrs. Dubose in To Kill a Mockingbird. She has performed locally at TAG, Bellevue Civic, Renton Civic, Theater Schmeater, Centerstage, ReAct, Stone Soup, and Driftwood among others.

Favorite roles include Daisy in Driving Miss Daisy, Madame Arcati in Blithe Spirit, Clairee in Steel Magnolias, Mavis in Murder Room and Dottie in Noises Off. September marked her directorial debut with BIRTH performing in various venues in the Seattle Tacoma area. Her voice talents can currently be heard on Crick & TOEFL Educational Software and the Her Interactive Nancy Drew gaming series as Emily Cranston in Secret of the Old Clock and Renee Amande in Legend of the Crystal Skull. Film credits include: The Allegory of the Socks, The Quiet Sea, Sometimes, Always in a Dream, and Covert Extraction.

Much love and gratitude to my family who puts up with my absence and to Val for her "aggressive" belief in me.

Amy Lynn Watson Leslie

Amy Lynn Watson is ecstatic to make her return to the Seattle stage in Be Aggressive with Artattack.  Performing since early childhood, Amy Lynn attended the Conservatory at Northwest Actors Studio and studied locally with director and camera acting coach Colleen Patrick, among others.

Upon moving to Los Angeles, Amy Lynn studied at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and worked in local theater and independent film. Amy Lynn returned to Seattle to take a brief hiatus and began performing again in early 2007.

Carolyn Monroe Hannah

Carolyn couldn't totally be more excited to be a part of this show!  She was recently seen as Guildenstern / Player Queen in Hamlet (Eclectic Theater), Little Nell in Mrs. Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge, Lucy in Dracula (Burien Little Theater), and Valerie in L'Atelier D'Ecriture (Steeplchase).  Check her out this April in The Beaux Stratagem at Ghostlight Theatricals.  Many thanks to Maggie for 16 beautiful years of friendship.

Kasey Brockwell Cheerleader

Kasey is fairly new to the theater community here in Seattle.  A transplant from Spokane WA, she has enjoyed being involved both on and off stage with various theater groups east of the cascades. Kasey taught, choreographed, and directed for both Spokane Children’s Theater and The Christian Youth Theater of Spokane for several years. She also enjoyed appearing in several shows in both Spokane and Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Among her favorites were the original show A Good Man is Hard to Find with Spokane’s Playwright’s Forum Festival, Death of a Salesman with Spokane Theatrical Group, and both My Fair Lady and Music Man with Coeur d’ Alene Summer Theater. She feels blessed to have been welcomed so warmly by this new exciting theater company here in Seattle, and wants to thank them along with her family and friends for their support

Andrea Nelson Cheerleader

Andrea Nelson holds a BA in Drama from the University of Washington where her favorite credits include The Vagina Monologues and Orestes 2.0.  She has most recently been seen in Plaza Suite at Bellevue Civic Theatre as well as entertaining at various corporate events around Seattle.  She is the author of a one-woman show Woombies about the trials and triumphs of growing up an identical twin, which she performed at the Ethnic Cultural Theatre.  In the few waking hours when she is not writing and performing for the theatre, Ms. Nelson freelances as a Sign Language interpreter.

Timothy Kelly Phil

Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Tim received his BFA in Acting from Wright State University, and moved to Seattle 20+ years ago. He has acted throughout the Puget Sound from Everett to Burien, from Redmond to Seattle, loving every theatre stop along the way. He thrives on The Food Network, CSI, CSI: Miami and lives with the two loves of his life, Christina and Stella (Stella's a cat!...). Much thanks to Justin, Ryan and the fabulous women of this extraordinary cast!

Ryan Baret
Choreographer & Stage Manager

Ryan is thrilled to be working with Artattack! His involvement stems from a long series of coincidences contrived to make his life seem like one continuous mission to become a theater professional. He has fully succumb to the momentum of the universe and is proud to be making his professional choreographic debut here in Seattle. Previous work includes his original play, Touch, which he conceived, wrote,
choreographed and directed, Zombies of Mass Destruction (a feature film premiering very soon in the Seattle area, TypeCast Films releasing), Graham in Emerald City Scene's original comedy, Wet Clay, and a number of credits from Actors Theater of Louisville's 2003-2004 season. Profound thanks to Justin for initiating this collaboration - an act at the heart of an evolving theatre community - and his mother, Kristin, for raising him and showing him the way.
